Greetings from Maine – here is what the hull looks like after five months.
After five months, one month without the ultrasonic running, when hauled there was no
growth of barnacles only a little slime at the waterline. Unfortunately I didn’t get to the boat yard before they hauled it out and did a lite wash down but the yard manager assured me of the status of the bottom (clean). This after running up the ICW from Green Cove Springs Fla to Maine and sitting on a mooring for 3 months and not moving. Either this is the best bottom paint or the Ultra Sonic is working. I’m sold – just the savings from not having to do bottom paint every year will more than pay for this in two years – that’s a pretty good investment!
